What TLS and SRTP actually protect
TLS protects SIP signaling
SIP handles registration, call setup and termination. TLS encrypts the connection between your MagnusBilling server and a compatible phone, app or trunk, helping protect credentials and signaling while they cross that connection.
SRTP protects the voice stream
Audio travels separately from SIP signaling. SRTP encrypts and authenticates the media packets on compatible call legs, making intercepted audio harder to read or alter.

Know where the protection ends
TLS protects each configured SIP connection, not every hop automatically. SRTP applies only where both sides support and use it. A carrier or device using unencrypted transport can leave part of the route unprotected; we help identify those compatibility limits during setup.

What do I need before installation?
Access to the MagnusBilling server, a valid domain and TLS certificate, and devices or trunks that support TLS and SRTP. If you need a certificate installed, ask us about the separate SSL certificate setup service.
Is this a subscription?
No. The US$ 100 price is a one-time configuration service for one server. Future device or provider changes may require additional work.
